Anika loves taking pictures so I got her (and Seth) a disposable camera.
She wanted to run down a hill with Dad (even though he warned her it was muddy).
She got muddy... and pretty upset about it.
We drove 30 minutes to get to a bounce house play place
(that is really 10 minutes away in good traffic).
I took her gifts along with us in case we were getting back too close to bedtime. When we got to the bounce house place just after 6pm we found out it had just closed :( So Anika opened her gifts while we sat there in the car so
there would still be something exciting.
Princess stuff. Doctor kit.
Ice cream cake.
Some things to remember about Anika at this age...
- Hearing Dad tell her stories is her favorite thing. We will pick him up from work, and when he gets in the car the first thing she says is,
"Dad, will you tell me a story please?"
- She loves to color pictures with marker and hang them up or give them to people. She also loves to cut pictures out.
- She loves to play pretend: especially princesses and superheros with dad.
- I find her name written everywhere.
